Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Lauren Schexnayder, MS, BCBA, received her master’s in applied behavioral analysis from the University of Georgia (UGA) and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Lauren is a BCBA in the ABA Therapy Services program where she works on improving verbal communication skills and reducing barriers to learning for her clients. She has experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities in both clinic, home, and school settings. Her interests include programming for the implementation of naturalistic teaching methods rooted in child development, along with systematic direct instruction to increase functional communication, social engagement, and play skills for children with autism. Lauren also enjoys working with therapists and caregivers to train them in implementing strategies.
